We viewed the Frey House II in Palm Springs. An amazing structure built into the side of a mountain. Built to take advantage of the landscape with deference to the desert environment and a fabulous view to boot.
The house is built around a large rock (in the bedroom) which gives the inhabitant an anchored feeling (the 3 glass walls would induce a feeling of falling without it).
A perfect home for one. . . . no room for clutter. . . just a feeling of one with nature.
